Heyyyyyyy besties! And happy belated Spring Equinox!!
It’s the beginning of a new year astrologicially so new energies and posibilities are upon us my loves!
It’s been a minute (or a year) if I’m being completely real with y’all. In the time since I’ve last written I fell in love, moved into a new space, started (and subsequently ended) a new job. You get the idea, a whole lot of shifts and a whole lot of shit has happened since we last spoke.
For me personally, this Lunar Eclipse in Libra feels like a culmination of all the people, places and things I’ve experienced this past year. The stories that have unfolded and the lessons that have come have been LOUD to say the least. So I thought the first eclipse series of the year would be the perfect opportunity to dive back in sharing what this eclipse season might mean for you.
So! With that being said let’s get into the astrology of this Lunar Eclipse in Libra!
Lunar Eclipses are essentially a supercharged Full Moon filled with fated events, major endings and beginnings. This is the second of three eclipses that are taking place in Libra over a year long period. The last one we had was on October 14, 2023 so to get a better understanding of what your eclipse story is look back on what was happening during that time in your life.
During these moments in the sky (which usually last a week before and after each eclipse), the universe has a way of nudging you pack on your path if you have strayed from it. Think of it as a rejiggering or shifting of sorts, guiding you back to yourself.
Since this Lunar Eclipse is in Libra, the sign of relationships, partnerships, balance & justice you can expect some of these themes to come up in your life. Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of relationships, beauty & money, so you can expect these Venusian themes to play a major role in this eclipse. When we look to where Venus is currently in the sky we can see it’s sitting real cute & cozy (in a conjunction) next to Saturn, the planet of structure, long term plans & discipline.
So what the fuck does this all mean, right?
With Venus in Pisces being the ruler of this eclipse and Saturn (basically making out) sitting conjunct to Venus you may have some breakthroughs regarding committment, boundaries and codependency in your relationships. Venus is Pisces wants rose-colored lenses and to get swept up in the moment but Saturn in Pisces wants you to be realistic by drawing boundaries in order for you to materialize your dreams.
You may even come to a deeper understanding of the ways you’ve been self-sacrificing. How and where you might still be holding onto people pleasing trauma responses.
This is an important time to check in with yourself and your relationships to see what relationships need to be restructured in your life. Whether that be a recommitment or a drawing of a boundary. Honoring where you’re at while acknowledging the part you played in getting there is key. Make the adjustments you need and keep it moving towards the direction of your dreams besties!
Welp, thanks all I’ve got for you for now…
Until next time!
xx
